Solely initiated by Chinese super sized aviation industry enterprise--Xi'an
Aircraft Industry (group) company limited, Xi'an aircraft international
corporation (XAIC) was established in the form of raising money
publicly with approval [1997] No.288 from China securities regulatory
commission.Being the first share of China aviation manufacturing
industry, it's A share (code 0768) was listed in Shenzhen Stock
Exchange on June 26, 1997.
Currently XAIC has total stock of 331.5 million shares, of which
117 million shares are owned by the publics. XAIC occupies an
area of 320,000square meters, possesses 4,200 sets of processing
and testing equipment. It employs over 6,000 employees.
XAIC's main business includes the production of structural parts
and components for China's large-and-medium-sized airplanes, subcontract
production of foreign aircraft parts and assemblies, and the production
of new architectural materials. It is the sole source supplier
of parts and assemblies of China-made Y7 airplane family, MA60
and other type airplanes. With the development over

10 years, the subcontract production has entered a new stage of
processing with supplied drawing and material, and processing
with supplied drawing and self purchased material. Now XAIC has
established the cooperative partnership with some world famous
aircraft manufacturing enterprises, such as Boeing company, French
Aerospatial, Italian Alenia, Deutsche Airbus and Canadian Bombardier
Aerospace etc., with the annual output reaching over 1,000 Units.
While developing airplane parts and assemblies production,XAIC
actively steps into the field of new architectural materials,
developing and manufacturing some products, such as VCM plate
and XIFEI brand aluminum profile series, which are partially used
for aviation manufacturing. With high quality, sound reputation
and vast potential in market, XAIC's architectural materials become
a new profitable subject. |
